Frequently Asked Questions

Flexible care options designed for busy families.

Why choose an in-home daycare instead of a traditional preschool?

Both in-home daycares and preschools offer valuable early learning experiences, but they provide different environments for children. In-home daycare offers a smaller, more personalized setting where children receive individualized attention and care. With low teacher-to-child ratios, caregivers can closely support each child’s learning style, emotional needs, and developmental pace. This often creates a stronger sense of security, confidence, and trust during the early years. Younger children especially benefit from home-like environments that feel warm, familiar, and nurturing while still incorporating structured learning, socialization, and school-readiness activities. Many families find that in-home daycare provides the best of both worlds — a safe, intimate setting combined with purposeful early education that prepares children for a smooth transition into higher learning spaces when they’re developmentally ready.

What is the student-to-teacher ratio in each class?

We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to ensure personalized attention and care for every child. Depending on the age group, each class has 1 teacher for every 6 children. Our max capacity is 14 children so space is usually limited.

Do you provide meals and snacks for the children?

Yes. We provide nutritious, kid-friendly meals and snacks throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and 2 scheduled snack times. We provide dinner during our evening service. Our meals are designed to support healthy growth, energy, and development while accommodating children’s routines and dietary needs whenever possible.

What are school hours and drop-off times?

We are a 24 hour program suited for parents with unique job obligations, however, drop off and pick up times are prearranged at the time of registration.

Is there a daily learning schedule or routine?

Absolutely. We follow a structured, developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes daily learning modules across areas such as early literacy, math, STEM exploration, creative arts, social skills, and motor development. Our play-based approach blends guided instruction with hands-on learning to support school readiness while keeping learning engaging and fun.

How can parents stay updated on their child’s progress?

Parents stay informed through daily updates, direct communication with teachers, and regular check-ins about their child’s development, activities, and milestones. We believe strong parent partnerships and open communication are key to every child’s success.

What does a typical day look like?

Our daily schedule includes learning modules, creative activities, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and social interaction — all designed to balance education, movement, and fun.

Do children need to be potty trained?

Potty training is not required for enrollment. We understand every child develops at their own pace and we partner with families to support potty training when the child shows readiness. Our staff provides encouragement, routine bathroom breaks, and positive reinforcement to help children succeed.

What is your sick child policy?

To protect the health and safety of all children, we ask that sick children remain home until they are symptom-free. Children may not attend if they have fever, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious rashes, or other communicable illnesses. If a child becomes ill during care, parents will be contacted for prompt pickup.

Do you offer before and after school care?

Yes. Our School-Age program includes structured before- and after-school care with homework support and enrichment activities.
