Davis Family Child Care was founded in December 2012 by Keenan Davis with a simple but powerful mission: to nurture strong, confident children from the very start.
Keenan Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and created Davis Family Child Care with the belief that early childhood education is not just supervision—it’s purpose-driven work. Inspired by the words of Frederick Douglass, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men,” our program is built on the idea that what children experience in their earliest years shapes who they become for life.
We intentionally hire teachers who are passionate about early childhood development and aspire to become preschool educators. We believe it takes a special kind of person to care for young children—someone patient, nurturing, observant, and committed to helping each child grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
